Happy Thanksgiving everyone! As a family we spent most of it at aunt Karen's house where of course we had a yummy delicious lunch/dinner and as always it's so good to see everyone. Unfortunately Evan, Natali, the kids, Aaron, Carolyn, Audrey and Gary couldn't make it, they ventured their way up to Idaho. Also mom couldnt make it, she came down with the flu that same morning. I also went out to my other brothers house in Grantsville for my second Thanksgiving dinner. But this isn't my point of this post. The point I'm trying to make is, what are you REALLY thankful for? I [Marie] am thankful for MANY MANY people and things. First off I am thankful/grateful for my religion. I don't know where I would be if I wasn't LDS and also for the experiences I get to have. Second, my family. They do so much for me that I could never ever repay them. Third, my friends. I have had friends come and go, but like the good ol' saying goes, the ones that mean something that will always last! So true. And last but definitely not least, the earth. I am grateful everyday for the water I get to drink, the land I get to walk on, the blue (sometimes cloudy) skies and the colorful trees. These are only a few things but they are the most important things in my life that I am personally thankful for. There's of course many more but that would just take days to name them all. So I ask you, what are you truly thankful for? And are you honestly grateful for these things all year round and not just for the Thanksgiving holiday. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
