McDonalds SUCK!

So I have to share my McDonalds horrible experience that I had last night with you! K so I worked ALL DAY LONG yesterday, 15 hours straight and then I was on call all night. So When I got off last night at 930pm and before I had to come back to work at 11pm I decided to go and get somethin to eat. And I definitely was NOT gonna cook anything, so I decided to go to McDonalds, in which I dont really eat there often but I was craving it. So I pull up to the drive thru with 20 cars in line. I wait there for about 10 minutes with no movement anywhere. I then decided to go inside to place my order. As I was standing inside, I was completely ignored by the employees. When I finally got their attention, I placed my order for a burger and 2 apple pies. As the employee handed me my burger, he said that they were out of apple pies and if I wanted fries or a drink. I then said, "WHAT??? Your out of apple pies and you didnt tell me this before I paid? AND NO I dont want a drink or fries in place of it because the value of those apple pies are more than fries or a drink. It takes McDonalds more money to make and heat those pies than it does for fries or a drink!" He repeatedly insisted on giving me some fries or a drink. I finally then said that I wanted a refund of the all whoppin' $1.08 for those non-existant apple pies. He said that he would put it back on my card and that's when I said, "no, you can give me cash back so that your till is short and your manager's gonna ask why." He finally gave me that whole big $1.08 back and said that they were short handed that night. "Well buddy I have news for you, everyone in the world is short handed these days but we all can do our jobs efficiently and effectively" I said. If I can do my job efficiently, effectively and adequetly EVERY DAY with being short handed, so can you. I then said thank you and walked out.

I guess the moral or should I say morals of the story is that make sure they have those dang apple pies before you pay for your food and also maybe not quite yell at the McDonalds employee. I know your probably saying to yourself, "wow Marie your mean!" But as I re-read this, it sounds meaner than it actually came out. I just believe if I can do my own job just fine efficiently, effectively and adequetly, so can he. And really, how hard is it to tell someone BEFORE they pay that their out of apple pies?! I dont get it. Anyways, that's my horrible McDonalds story. And I'm sure I'll be going back there SOMEDAY just not anytime soon!
