Never Forgotten

As today is September 11th, we all remember 9 years ago and the tradgic events that happened that day. I remember just the other day hearing that some 10,000 kids lost a parent/parents that day. I cant even imagine loosing a loved one to that kind of tragedy. Thank you all you men and women out there who fight for our country. To pay some of my respects, here are some quotes that I think we can all ponder about. Remember freedom ISN'T free.
"Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror. The pictures of airplanes flying into buildings, fires burning, huge structures collapsing, have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness and a quiet, unyielding anger."--George W. Bush
“Today, we gather to be reassured that God hears the lamenting and bitter weeping of Mother America because so many of her children are no more. Let us now seek that assurance in prayer for the healing of our grief stricken hearts, for the souls and sacred memory of those who have been lost. Let us also pray for divine wisdom as our leaders consider the necessary actions for national security, wisdom of the grace of God that as we act, we not become the evil we deplore.”- Rev. Nathan Baxter, Dean of Washington National Cathedral

"The hero is commonly the simplest and obscurest of men." Henry David Thoreau

"It is easy to take liberty for granted, when you have never had it taken from you." ~Author unknown, sometimes attributed to M. Grundler

“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children." - President George W. Bush, November 11, 2001

This is such a heart felt blog... it was a really sad mark in our lives. I am sure everyone remembers right where they were at the moments when buildings went down and people died..

On another note, how are you??? Are you doing Fall classes??? How are you and that boy???

I agree Nicole. I'm doing great, just keepin busy with school and work. I'm just taking stats and then I'll be done with SLCC. There's not really any boys at the moment, but it's all good.

How about you, are you taking classes? I freakin love your new kitchen, I really want to come and see it! How are you and Eric doing?
